The City Attorney advises the City regarding legal matters and conducts all court litigation on behalf of the City.
Chalk Mitchell grew up in Helena, Arkansas, and graduated from Eliza Miller High School before pursing his undergraduate degree at Morehouse College and graduate degrees at both Georgetown University Law Center and Harvard University.  An attorney in Helena and serves on the board of several community groups. Mr. Mitchell was elected Board Chair of the KIPP School  2009.
